Picture
Professor Pearce came to Bryant University in 1998 and became Chair of the Department of Communication in 2015. He studied German at the Goethe Institute in Dresden, Germany. Dr. Pearce currently leads the Sophomore International Experience trip to Germany and Spain. In the past, he has led trips for Bryant students to Greece, China, Panama and Ecuador (including the Galapagos Islands). Dr. Pearce teaches a variety of  globally-focused courses. He enjoys teaching at Bryant because of the close knit feeling of the community.

His research interests have included Intercultural Communication, Global Communication, and Mass Communication. His current research focuses on issues relating to adoption and communication.
