Jennifer Mitchell - Freigburg, GERMANY
I did a European Union program which focused on the politics and international relations of the European Union. I chose to study in this program because unlike other programs centered around one location, I was able to go all around Europe to see different important European Union institutions while experiencing more countries. With my program, I traveled to Berlin, Warsaw, Strasbourg, Paris, Brussels and Geneva. During these travels I attended many EU institutions including the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the Council of the European Union. I also traveled independently with my friends to Switzerland and Croatia. I think the best part for me was traveling around with my new friends. I went into the program alone with no other Bryant students and it allowed me to make a whole new friend group! Even though the program was cut short, I wouldn't trade the people I met or our experiences for anything!
Alyse Beauchemin - Aix-en-Provence, France
I am currently studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France for the Spring 2019 semester. I chose to study abroad in Aix-en- Provence because I wanted to fully experience French culture. Until recently, I had never been to Europe, but had taken three semesters of French language and culture at Bryant. France is a beautiful nation with a rich history that dates back centuries and I really wanted to learn more about it. Although I have not been in the country for very long, I have found that my study abroad experience has broadened my global perspective, has allowed me to reflect back upon my own culture, has improved my linguistic abilities, and has taught me to appreciate the wonderful opportunity of international travel I am lucky enough to experience this semester. As for my favorite things besides the opportunity to travel, the deliciousness of French bread and cheese cannot be overstated. Neither can the beautiful art, architecture, or overall history and culture of France.

Melissa Rodriguez - Seville, Spain
In the Fall of 2019 I did my study abroad in Seville Spain. Choosing to study abroad has been the best decision I have made in not only enriching my Global Studies curriculum education but my experience at Bryant University. I chose to study in Seville because I have been studying Castellano (language spoken in the region) and Spanish culture for twelve years. It was a dream come true for me to finally visit the rich culture and history of a place I had studied about for so long. My favorite aspect about my study abroad was learning how to cook tapas, which are small portions of typical Spanish cuisine. Not only did I have the opportunity to take a tapas cooking class at my institution but my host mom also taught me her own recipes at home. The cherry on top of my experience has to be the ability to travel to 6 different countries along with exploring Spain, including: Italy, France, Switzerland, Morocco, Germany, Portugal.
Claire Gracia - sEVILLE, spAIN

In the Fall of 2016, I studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain. This small city is located in Andalusia in the south of Spain. Its warm culture was reflected in the food, culture, dancing and of course, the weather. I lived with a roommate from Washington and my host mother, Fuensanta. She taught us how to cook Spanish food, the inside secrets of the city, and about her culture. I studied at Universidad de Pablo Olavide, had an intercambio (partnered with a Spanish student to exchange languages and cultures), and had the opportunity to teach English at a local elementary school. I have always had the interest in teaching English but I didn't have any experience and didn't know what to expect. I taught second graders who were all at different levels of English. That was one of my favorite experiences while I was abroad. I looked forward to it every week and it was sad to say good bye to the kids my last week. Since traveling around Europe was reasonably priced, I traveled most weekends and over break.
